Together with the local presidents from ELSA Zurich and Lucerne, our president Joëlle Marciano has attended the 60th International Presidents Meeting (IPM) from February 5th-9th 2020 in Munich. At this IPM, presidents from all over the network discussed the strategic planning of the association, including topics such as advocacy and the restructuring of international internal meetings.
You can now submit your work to the ELSA Law Review for publishing until 1 March 2020. The mission of the ELSA Law Review is to create a forum for the analysis and discussion of contemporary legal issues by serving as an avenue for the ELSA network to publish its academic work. It aims to provide law students and young lawyers, as well as the wider legal profession, with a source of critical commentary that is outside the scope of the typical legal curriculum.

It is a unique opportunity for ELSA Members to get an insight of the functioning of an international conference and to meet professionals from all over the world. Applications for the Swiss delegation at ICM Malta are now open for the local board members. The ICM will be held from the 15th to the 22nd of March in Malta. It is a great opportunity to meet ELSA Members from all over Europe and to participate in the decision making process, that will shape the future of our Association.
ELSA Switzerland held its National Council Meeting (NCM) from November 8-10 in Fribourg.
During the NCM, ELSA Switzerland provided several workshops for local officers and also renewed its statutes and standing orders.
The next NCM will take place in April 2020 in St. Gallen.

From 20th to 27th October 2019 the 76th International Council Meeting was held in Constanta, Romania. It was the opportunity for Joelle Marciano, Basil Schaller, Chelsea Rolle and Mariya Sayenko to attend different workshops on their respective positions and vote on behalf of ELSA Switzerland during the plenaries.
On the 7th November 2019 together organises the Absolventenmesse 2019 and it will be held in Zurich from 10AM to 16PM. It is a great opportunity for graduates or young workers to get to know potential employers and have a first step into the working world.
